It’s Been Awhile…..

It’s been awhile since I last posted here.  My intentions are always so good that I will take the time to write a quick post and get it out to all of you.  But if you are like me, my days are over with before I can get everything done that I had intended to do.

First, let me tell you that my trip to Germany was absolutely amazing!!   It was a little intimidating travelling by myself, but with the help of my interpreter, it was very successful!  How fun to teach at a quilt show in Germany, but what I discovered is that we are all quilters and loving what we are doing and love learning new things!!

Here are some pics from my classes that I taught!!

Here are some pictures of Karlsruhe, Germany

Here’s the crew of people that went out to dinner each night!!  What a great group!!  A special thank you to Birgit and Patricia (1st picture below) for all the help and encouragement they gave me on this trip!!

Since Germany, I have been to Utah to teach at Handi Quilter Academy!!  What a blast that was for both the teachers and the students.  If you ever have the opportunity to attend Academy, it is a wonderful experience of learning and friendship!!

Here are some of the educators having fun with the photo booth!!

All of the Educators for 2017 Handi Quilter Academy!!  I am so fortunate to call them friends!!!

Besides all of this, I have recently been blessed with a new grandson!!

My next venture is to teach at Mid Appalachian Quilters Conference at Mt. St. Mary’s College in Emmittsburg, MD.  This is three all day classes, and should be a lot of fun!!

I am also excited that I am teaching classes at AQS Fall Paducah this September!!  To see more about the show, or the instructors.  One of my classes has already sold out, so please don’t wait too long to sign up.  Here is a list of my classes.

Have a great and happy Fourth of July weekend!!!

Happy Quilting!!
